While people around the world tended to have positive opinions of U.S. leadership, residents of some countries had a negative impression of the United States. In five nations, more than two-thirds of those surveyed disapproved of the current administration, according to the latest U.S.-Global Leadership Project, a partnership between Meridian International Center and Gallup.

HISTORIC MYSTERY REVEALED!

02/09/2012 by the revelation painting

THE REVELATION PAINTING-A MYSTERY REVEALED
This is a true revelation about The Revelation Painting. Throughout history it has been missed and will change religion, as well as history as we know it to be regarding Revelation in the bible. After working on this painting for the past 13 years I realize exactly how something of this magnitude was missed. Upon crushing stones for the painting I began to see how the colors created something very familiar although it was not fully apparent at first. Initially I saw the stones of the twelve foundations just as anyone else but then started to see a pattern. Intermittently within the pattern some stones seemed out of place. I began to research the origins of the stones, ancient known colors, their original names, ancient descriptions and then I realized what the stones meant. A story unfolded before my eyes!
The first stone of the twelve foundations is Jasper (please see the blog on Jasper and subsequent stones). I imagined a “New City” in the sky; the heavens and thought the correct stone was Ocean Jasper; a blue stone. I began requesting Ocean Jasper from all over the world. It was through a dream that I realized my mistake only 10 years later. A dream lead to the discovery and it was as though a tape recorder played the sentence: “His face shone like the sun, as a precious gemstone as clear as crystal; a Jasper stone.” Day and night the words taunted me. I researched Jasper; a quartz and realized that it was the clear, brilliance of quartz crystal which reflects small rainbows within it similar to a diamond effect! What better a stone to signify the pure cleanliness, shine and glory of God himself? A city which “shines like the sun”.
Sapphire followed but the common blue sapphire was not correct either. Upon researching the colors of Sapphire, I was in awe to realize that red Sapphire is a Ruby! I placed a Ruby for the second stone of the foundations and threw caution to the wind. It was a very expense risk and the first time I smashed a ruby into shards I thought I would pass out but interestingly enough, it was comfortable and extremely natural. Mingling ruby with the quartz began to create a fading effect, like dry pigments; the richer the mixing the darker the color, so a small amount caused a pink effect fading to a rich, translucent red-the hallmark of the brilliance only Ruby has. Little did I realize at that time the translucency also played a significant role in the meaning of the New City and the twelve foundation stones.
The third stone, Chalcedony was also known for its sky blue, heavenly color. Now, against the red and clear it was obvious that the blue was incorrect. According to the pattern of color I was trying to discover, it was apparent the Chalcedony was minimally red-orange, if not solidly red. I researched Chalcedony and once again was surprised to find that red is a rare color of the stone. The red of Chalcedony is more opaque that the Ruby. When I looked at the red color it reminded me of blood; the red-orange color of blood and it was like the brilliance of God was bleeding, fading like a slow bleed. It was only destiny that the next stone-Emerald was red. I battled over my theory and knew that at one time Emerald had to have been a red stone. I started from the beginning.
Emerald is a Beryl. Beryl’s come in all colors, including red. After intermittently learning about stones, it was when the economic crisis in the United States prompted me to start collecting a “nest egg”, something that would always have value throughout time like gold, platinum, precious gemstones… I looked for the rarest gemstone in the world and found beyond my wildest imagination red Beryl, a red “Emerald” or Bixbite! I still faced the dilemma of why the only Emerald I had ever known was green. I found that in the 1800s green Beryl was separated from the family and man called it Emerald! I had found the discrepancy amongst the stones and within the fade from translucency to opaque, the deepest red of Bixbite is the color of blood! My New City was bleeding!
What is the most powerful sacrifice made for humanity in the bible? Jesus shed his blood and died for our sins so that we will have everlasting life. Everlasting life in God’s New City! How appropriate for a New City-God’s New City, a new and pure beginning to shine in his image first and foremost. Secondly, to never let us forget the sacrifice which was made-Jesus’ blood and ultimately his life? The first six foundations show glory, a slow bleed, a vanishing bleed through Sardonyx and Sardius (Carnelian) turning red-orange to orange, and the seventh stone (a division stone from one message to another yet overlapping to connect the meanings of a promise), is Chrysolite-gold, like the streets of the New City shiny like glass.
The following colors after Chrysolite are the seven colors of the rainbow in their correct order. A rainbow signifies a “promise” as noted in the story of Noah’s Arch. Personally I would imagine that within the New City there would include a promise of purity, overall good and God’s plan. As I have stated before: I am not religious but I am learning to make my own decisions. If I were God I suppose I would have hidden astounding clues within my work which is what prompted the many mysteries within The Revelation Painting. It is an exciting time and Revelation is rising!

RAINBOW

Revelation is about sevens and mysteries. There are seven colors in a rainbow. The seventh stone from top to bottom in the mentioned in the foundations is Chrysolite which signifies a division line within the foundation stones between two messages.

JASPER (QUARTZ)
Rev. 21:11 …“It shone with the glory of God, and its brilliance was like that of a very precious jewel, like Jasper, clear as crystal.”

JASPER-QUARTZ “As clear as crystal”

SAPPHIRE (RUBY)
Every color of the stone Corundum is considered a ”Sapphire” except for red. The red Sapphire is a Ruby.
Translucent red fading from the clear…starting to bleed…

SAPPHIRE (RED) RUBY

CHALCEDONY
More opaque, a richer red-a rare color…heavier bleeding…

CHALCEDONY (RED-OPAQUE)

EMERALD
A Beryl. In the 1800’s, man removed the green Beryl from the Beryl group and called it an Emerald. Is this the Emerald mentioned in the foundations of the New City? It fits perfectly into the scheme of color and meaning.
RED Beryl-Bixbite, the rarest gemstone in the world!
The feedback about this stone is amazing, many people are attracted to it compared to other stones of the painting and ask constantly what kind of stone it is. Why would that be?Why does the stone fall in this position within the foundations? Does it symbolize the rarity of Jesus’ blood? Only 60 pounds of this rare stone was ever mined!
(This gem is typically heavily included, opaque, and the faceted Gem is very expensive. You could expect to pay $20,000 to $25,000 for a one (1) carat Red Beryl; RED EMERALD!)

EMERALD (RED) BIXBITE

SARDONYX
Blood (red blood cells and yellow plasma)
The blood is now fading from red to orange.

SARDONYX (Red Orange Transition)

SARDIUS
Carnelian-pure ORANGE transitional stone into the remaining rainbow. The second color of the rainbow.

SARDIUS-CARNELIAN

The New City built by GOD will (1.) shine in the image of God’s glory (as noted above-the “shine”) as Jesus’ blood flows to let us (2.) never forget the sacrifice he made. The blood separated by the golden division line from blood to the seven (remaining five) rainbow colors in their correct order, of (3.) a promise of God’s love.

RAINBOW-A promise!

THE REVELATION PAINTING

Please note the most of the stones mentioned have a spectrum of colors, which exhibit fading and transitional properties from one stone to another, therefore one color of the rainbow to the next, e.g. A Ruby may be represented in pink to red in various shades and a Topaz can range in the green-blues, among other colors. Amethyst can be seen in darkest purple to violet to an almost clear (among other colors), which could be considered blending with the clear Jasper and starting the process all over again.

Restarting the Journals

Please note I will be starting the journals for The Revelation Painting again from where I left off. I will not give a date for the completion of the painting at this time. There has been a delay which I am working on fixing. The website for the painting is down but will go back up at a later date. It is like starting again. Please bear with me, I am the only worker in this huge endeavor; a huge painting, seven journals, media, advertising and working a full time job that pays the bills. It is all very exhausting as you can imagine. Thank you for your support!

The FIRST MYSTERY OF REVELATION

THE FOUR HORSEMEN

A long time ago, when I was still considered a child I tried to sketch what I envisioned and dreamed regarding this painting and was unable to.  Believing it just wasn’t my time, that I hadn’t yet earned the right I continued on with my life.  Although I had made bets with myself to read the entire bible, I often became discouraged because I did not understand what I was reading and still do not…mostly.  I would put the bible up and forget about it.  I had read or heard that if you simply ask for understanding, you will receive it.  I also read not to test God, but the rebel I am an have always been went ahead and tested him.  I asked for understanding.  Sometime later, I read Revelation like I always did, as an artist and not a religious person.  I got to the Four Horsemen and found my heart pounding in realization…I had earned the right, I finally understood!

Once widely used to classify races of humans and still used in Forensics and medical sciences, I find it interesting that the four primary races match the colors of the horses in overall color, (please see blog regarding the Pale Horse separate from this entry) as well as the roles the horses represent.  The terms are not used as much publicly due to the “offensive” projections people feel they create.  For this piece, I will use them for scientific and artistic purposes in order to express my theory as I see it.  All I can tell you is if you feel offended, close the blog.

Theoretically, the Caucasian-white, Australoid-red, Negroid-black, and the Mongoloid-pale (In art the lightest basic color in the color scale before white, classified as “pale”).  One could argue the “pale” theory but I am not here to argue that, I am here to express my theory as an artist, keep an open mind, continue researching the subject and make sure I have scientific evidence and proven information.  The terms are used in physical anthropology and intricate details of each skull type are used to classify the origination of various humans or the regions of the world from which they were first known to inhabit.  It is interesting information and you may not be who you think you are!

In science and through excessive research, it has been found that: Caucasoid people were/are indigenous to Europe (see European countries:  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Europe), Western and South Asia, as well as a Western section of Central Asia and North Africa.

Australoid-Australoid peoples ranged throughout Australia, New Guinea, and Melanesia, as well as different parts of Oceania ,Philippines,Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, India, and the SouthernMiddle East.

Negroid are people from a Southern portion of North Africa and sub-Sahara Africa.

Mongoloid people are East and Southeast Asian, the Eastern portion of Southeast Asia, Polynesia, Far East Central Asia, Greenland, Far Eastern region of South Asia and the Americas!  (This is very significant in the story of The Four Horsemen.)

See link for geographical reference to race originations:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Craniofacial_anthropometry  Please note that ALL people classified in the origin may not have an active role in the events represented by their horses’ role.

So, what does all this mean? These are the Four Horsemen of Revelation:

The White Horse-Caucasoid

The Red Horse-Australoid

The Black Horse-Negroid

The Pale Horse-Mongoloid

SECTION ONE-THE FOUR HORSEMEN-THE WHITE HORSE

According to Revelation the White Horse:

“…And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer…”

EUROPEAN MAJOR WARS/Events:French Revolution 1789, Industrial Revolution-Second half of the 18th century, Russian Revolution 1917.  See:  World War II Timeline…Germany, Hitler, Soviets, etc… It is astounding information!  http://www.historyplace.com/worldwar2/timeline/ww2time.htm

And in current times the threat of The New World Order-The wealthiest most powerful bloodlines in the world. The 13 bloodlines are:

The Astor Bloodline

The Bundy Bloodline

The Collins Bloodline

The DuPont Bloodline

The Freeman Bloodline

The Kennedy Bloodline

The Li Bloodline

The Onassis Bloodline

The Reynolds Bloodline

The Rockefeller Bloodline

The Rothschild Bloodline

The Russel Bloodline

The Van Duyn Bloodline

Also as a 14th bloodline theirs a Merovingian (Merovingian – a Frankish dynasty founded by Clovis I that reigned in Gaul and Germany from about 500 to 750 bloodline) which has something to do with the European Royal Families and also 3 interconnected bloodlines,

The Disney Bloodline

The Krupp Bloodline

The McDonald Bloodline.

It appears throughout time, the Caucasian race has utilized the bow and crown given to him. Some text theorize the White Horse is the Antichrist but does not link the theory to research, although if I had to look at it in that manner, I would have to agree. If a person looked at these horses as not only races of people but the timelines and peaks of their reigns, that person could calculate events before they happen.  The times overlap yet there are definite peaks, as you will see in The Black Horse theory. Biblical years v.s current years: http://www.direct.ca/trinity/360day.html

SECTION TWO-THE FOUR HORSEMEN-THE RED HORSE

The Red Horse-Australoid:

”…And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword…”

The focus on The Red Horses Australoid origin would obviously focus on the Middle East in current times all the way back to biblical times.  Peace has definitely been taken from the earth for a long, long time due to the discord.  The Middle East fight among themselves and indeed kill each other.

My confusion came when I thought about the American Indians and their skin colors so similar to Middle Eastern.  I thought they did fight amongst themselves and kill each other too, along with others but if they were here before “white men”, they did not fit into the Australoid origin theory.  My entire theory was shot…But then I started thinking, well then, where did they originate from?

SHOCKINGLY, this is what I surely did not expect to find: Skulls of people with Australoid morphologies have been found in the Americas, leading to speculation that people with phenotypical similarities to modern Australoids may have been the earliest occupants of the continent.  http://www.reference.com/browse/wiki/Australoid

SECTION THREE-THE FOUR HORSEMEN-THE BLACK HORSE

“…and behold, a black horse, and he who sat on it had a pair of balances (scales) in his hand…”

I went over some of this material in my post regarding the Black Horse previously.  I stated as the artist, and as a human being that I felt no man in history had given so much toward equality in the world as Martin Luther King, even losing his life for it.  It was his actions which gave birth to all of the equal rights movements for so many things in current history.

For me, the balances (scales) are equality and therefore justice by weight of evidence measured.  I also noted that the rider of the Black Horse will be Martin Luther King.  The equality explosion occurred in effort to obtain equal rights for African Americans, and all people in general.  So it would center around the Negroid race.  (Please keep in mind equality was tied to women’s rights, disability rights, gay rights, etc…)

SECTION FOUR-THE FOUR HORSEMEN-THE PALE HORSE

THE MONGOLOID PEOPLE-THE PALE HORSE

“…And behold, a pale horse, and he who sat on it, his name was Death. Hades followed with him. Authority over one fourth of the earth, to kill with the sword, with famine, with death, and by the wild animals of the earth was given to him…”

Mongoloid people are East and Southeast Asian, the Eastern portion of Southeast Asia, Polynesia, Far East Central Asia, Greenland, Far Eastern region of South Asia and surprisingly enough, the Americas!

Shocking to realize WE (Pale Americans) are the Pale Horse!

Is it coincidental that we are currently on the brink of World War III?  Is it too far fetched to think that America does not have a major role in the unsettled politics of our current times and the overall turmoil of the world?  Are we the rider named Death?

Mongoloid is featured in blue on the map.  Mongoloid’s crossed the Bering Straight into the Americas.  Migration.  Everyone originated in Africa.

Who Are You?

Who Are You?

by The Revelation Painting on Monday, December 26, 2011 at 2:15am
Even though we are human and we have been alive for a long time as a species, we take that for granted.  Have you ever just sat and wondered exactly who you really are or where you came from?  I mean REALLY came from?  Like you, I never really thought about it until I began working on The Four Horsemen of The Revelation Painting.  It was the rider’s of those horses who showed me something I would have never seen otherwise.  As I read and tried desperately to “read between the lines” about the horses and their independent missions or meanings, I started to see that each horse represented an amount of time on this earth!  Evolution and change, social responsibility and unity were just a small part of it.

Then I found myself absorbed in the Locust of Scene IV which were described as first and foremost, “the face of a man”.  I became confused as I began to sketch this “face of a man”.  I thought: “What man, from what period of time, what race or all races?”  As you can see, it is not an easy task when you think about the simple sentence: “The face of a man.”  This is where Physical Anthropology becomes important.  This is where philosophy hits you on the head like being struck with a hammer!  You start to think: “Really, who am I and where DID I come from?”

I suppose this is were religion comes into our lives and we just accept the God made us.  We are supposed to believe in “blind faith” that it is a true and undisputable fact but I cannot.  I need to see and maybe that is what fuels an artist’s mind.  Artist are visual, imaginative, inquisitive and in my case, I have always had a “problem” seeing the big picture when it is made up from so many minute details…like our molecules and atoms.  We are not just people, we are more than that and if we all originated from Adam and Eve, why do we look so different?

Human evolution refers to the evolutionary history of the genus Homo, including the emergence of Homo sapiens as a distinct species and as a unique category of hominids (“great apes”) and mammals. The study of human evolution uses many scientific disciplines, including physical anthropology, primatology, archaeology, linguistics and genetics. The evidence for human evolution is overwhelming. This includes thousands of fossils that have been uncovered. These fossils show the progressive straightening of the spine, the increase in brain volume, and change in facial features. Humans have also inherited their tail bone (which is a remnant of what was once a human tail) from earlier primate ancestors.

All animals have a tail at one point in their development; in humans, it is present for a period of 4 weeks, during stages 14 to 22 of human embryogenesis. We also have a remnant (though non-functional third eyelid (the Plica Semilunaris), which is thought to have been inherited from Calabar angwantibo primate species, and extra external ear muscles.  These ear muscles are used by animals to swivel and manipulate their ears (independently of their head) in order to focus their hearing on particular sounds. Humans still have the muscles that we would once have used for the very same reason – but our muscles are now so feeble that all they can do is give our ears a little wiggle.

DNA comparisons also show that we share approximately 98.8-99% of our DNA with our closest cousin, the chimpanzee (i.e., we only differ in 1-1.2% of our DNA). Evidence also includes ancestral DNA evidence (“Junk DNA”) that humans share with earlier ancestors. For example, Humans have structures in their genetic make-up that were once used to produce enzymes to process vitamin C (it is called L-gulonolactone oxidase). Most other animals have this functioning DNA but at some point in our history, a mutation disabled the gene – whilst leaving behind its remnants as junk DNA. This particular junk DNA indicates a common ancestry with other species on earth.

The plantaris muscle also serves as evidence of evolution. The plantaris muscle is used by animals in gripping and manipulating objects with their feet – something you see with apes who seem to be able to use their feet as well as their hands. Humans have this muscle as well, but it is now so underdeveloped that it is often taken out by doctors when they need tissue for reconstruction in other parts of the body. The muscle is so unimportant to the human body that 9% of humans are now born without it. Other evidence includes Jacobsons’s organ. Jacobson’s organ is a part of animal anatomy and it tells us a lot about our own sexual history. The organ is in the nose and it is a special “smell” organ which detects pheromones (the chemical that triggers sexual desire, alarm, or information about food trails).

It is this organ that allows some animals to track others for sex and to know of potential dangers. Humans are born with the Jacobson’s organ, but in early development its abilities dwindle to a point that it is useless. In some cases, structures once identified as vestigal simply had an unrecognized function. Wisdom teeth are also derived of evolutionary origin. Early humans ate a lot of plants – and they needed to eat them quickly enough that they could eat a sufficient amount in one day to get all of the nutrients they needed. For this reason, we had an extra set of molars to make the larger mouth more productive. This was particularly essential as the body lacked the ability to sufficiently digest cellulose. As evolution made its selections, our diets changed, our jaws grew appropriately smaller, and our third molars became unnecessary.

The term “human” in the context of human evolution refers to the genus Homo, but studies of human evolution usually include other hominids, such as the Australopithecines, from which the genus Homo diverged by about 2.3 to 2.4 million years ago in Africa.  Scientists have estimated that humans branched off from their common ancestor with chimpanzees about 5–7 million years ago. Several species and subspecies of Homoevolved and are now extinct, introgressed or extant. Examples include Homo erectus (which inhabited Asia, Africa, and Europe) and Neanderthals(either Homo neanderthalensis or Homo sapiens neanderthalensis) (which inhabited Europe and Asia). Archaic Homo sapiens, the forerunner ofanatomically modern humans, evolved between 400,000 and 250,000 years ago.

One view among scientists concerning the origin of anatomically modern humans is the hypothesis known as “Out of Africa”, recent African origin of modern humans, or recent African origin hypothesis, which argues that Homo sapiens arose in Africa and migrated out of the continent around 50,000 to 100,000 years ago, replacing populations of Homo erectus in Asia and Neanderthals in Europe. An alternative multiregional hypothesis posits that Homo sapiens evolved as geographically separate but interbreeding populations stemming from the worldwide migration ofHomo erectus out of Africa nearly 2.5 million years ago. Evidence suggests that several haplotypes of Neanderthal origin are present among all non-African populations, and Neanderthals and other hominids, such as Denisova hominin may have contributed up to 6% of their genome to present-day humans.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Human_evolution

So now, ask yourself this:  “If science has developed a way to SEE the connections we have with other species, and are able to trace our origins back to a certain time, does that mean that Adam and Eve were “Great Apes” and if so and God created man in his own image, does that mean that the Great Apes that we humans are forcing to extinction are indeed ourselves killing the closest thing we know to God himself?  Are we killing ourselves, are we forcing ourselves into distinction?”  It seems as though if we wanted to believe these theories (which are substantiated by the proof of science and not writings in a book; the Bible), regardless of the argument, that we would hold LIFE itself very precious to our survival whether it be a man, an ape, or a plant because ultimately we don’t know for sure.

A fool destroys himself and you never bite the hand that feeds you.  Imagine…everyone has not always “looked” like Hollywood.  Everyone has not always looked as we look today.  There are ancient skulls which measure completely different measurements that do not match our measurements in today’s time in any way.  Ask yourself who were those people?  We were given the responsibility of this world from them, they believed that we would care for it yet we are destroying the very fibers of our beings.  It is important to think and understand “us” as humanity, “us” as the gatekeepers, “us” as the master’s of our and other species.  The decisions we make today affect the world today, not tomorrow, today.  We are in charge and we are failing our world.

I realize some people will not like to read this, some will argue the validity, some will call me a “nut” but the bottom line is this:  It is not about what you have in your hand when you leave this earth, it is about what you have in your heart and what you leave behind in the hearts of others.  We are not in this world for ourself, we are in this world for one another and simple common sense can and will tell you (if you can hear it beyond the tip of your own nose) that the diamonds on your fingers, the mansion on the hill, the gangsta pistol, Air Jordans, not even the BMW in the driveway means anything to anyone but YOU. Imagine a world where EVERYONE you meet says Hello and smiles.  Imagine a world where we don’t have to dream nightmares wondering if the New World Order is real or not or if we will wake up to World War III.  Imagine not having to work so desperately hard just to make ends meet.

If we as individuals, each one of us changed to the way we wanted the world to be, it would be that kind of world because believe it or not WE ARE IN CONTROL and we have been all along.  A new year is here, a new life is here starting today.  Imagine this:  Have you ever thought, “I wish I could go back in time and start over but know what I know now”?  TODAY YOU ARE ALIVE, TODAY YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE, TODAY YOU ARE WAKING UP KNOWING NOW WHAT YOU DIDN’T KNOW THEN…TODAY IS THE FIRST DAY OF THE REST OF YOUR LIFE…LITERALLY.  WELCOME TO YOUR WORLD, MAKE IT THE WORLD YOU WANT IT TO BE.  EVERYDAY POST A GOAL ON YOUR PAGE AND EVERYDAY WRITE ABOUT HOW YOU ARE WORKING TO MAKE YOUR DREAMS FOR A BETTER WORLD A REALITY.

TODAY IS THE DAY YOU ANSWER THIS SIMPLE QUESTION:  “WHO AM I?”

The Measure of a Man…or Woman

Humanity may refer to:

  • The human species

The total world population

  • Human nature, psychological characteristics that all normal humans have in common

Compassion, altruism, or similar positive aspects of human nature along with aggression, fear, or similar negative aspects

  • The human condition, the totality of experience of existing as a human
  • The humanities, academic disciplines which study the human condition using analytic, critical, or speculative methods
  • The Kingdom of Humanity, a micronation.
  • Humanity as one of the six core virtues in the Character Strengths and Virtueshandbook.

The Character Strengths and Virtues (CSV) handbook of human strengths and virtues, by the Values in Action Institute, represents the first attempt on the part of the research community to identify and classify the positive psychological traits of human beings. In the same way that the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders is used to assess and facilitate research on mental disorders, the CSV is intended to provide a theoretical framework to assist in developing practical applications for positive psychology. The CSV identifies six classes of virtue (i.e. “core virtues”), made up of twenty-four measurable character strengths.

List from the book

The organization of these virtues and strengths in the book is as follows.[1]

  • Wisdom and Knowledge (strengths that involve the acquisition and use of knowledge)
    • creativity (personified for example by Albert Einstein)
    • curiosity (personified for example by John C. Lilly)
    • open-mindedness (personified for example by William James)
    • love of learning (personified for example by Benjamin Franklin)
    • perspective and wisdom (personified for example by Ann Landers): the coordination of “knowledge and experience” and “its deliberate use to improve wellbeing.”[4] Many, but not all, studies find that adults’ self-ratings of perspective/wisdom do not depend on age.[5] This stands in contrast to the popular notion that wisdom increases with age.[5]
  • Courage (strengths that allow one to accomplish goals in the face of opposition)
    • bravery (personified for example by Ernest Shackleton)
    • persistence (personified for example by John D. Rockefeller)
    • integrity (personified for example by Sojourner Truth)
    • vitality (personified for example by the Dalai Lama)
  • Humanity (strengths of tending and befriending others)
    • love (personified for example by Romeo and Juliet)
    • kindness (personified for example by Cicely Saunders)
    • social intelligence (personified for example by Robert Kennedy)
  • Justice (strengths that build healthy community)
    • active citizenship / social responsibility / loyalty / teamwork (personified for example by Sam Nzima)
    • fairness (personified for example by Mohandas Gandhi)
    • leadership
  • Temperance (strengths that protect against excess)
    • forgiveness and mercy (personified for example by Pope John Paul II)
    • humility and modesty (personified for example by Bill W., co-founder of Alcoholics Anonymous)
    • prudence (personified for example by Fred Soper)
    • self-regulation and self control (personified for example by Jerry Rice)
  • Transcendence (strengths that forge connections to the larger universe and provide meaning)
    • appreciation of beauty and appreciation of excellence (personified for example by Walt Whitman)

Working on the buildings to be used in Scene V.  It seems the architecture in the bible often refers to buildings in nearly perfect measurements.  It was odd to find that many of today’s renowned buildings are made in very similar measurements, often similar to one another.

The Most Commonly Know Structure of Vatican City

The Papal Basilica of Saint Peter (Latin: Basilica Sancti Petri), officially known in Italian as Basilica Papale di San Pietro in Vaticano and commonly known as Saint Peter’s Basilica, is a Late Renaissance church located within the Vatican City. Saint Peter’s Basilica has the largest interior of any Christian church in the world. While it is neither the official mother church of the Roman Catholic Church nor the cathedral of the Pope as Bishop of Rome, Saint Peter’s is regarded as one of the holiest Catholic sites. It has been described as “holding a unique position in the Christian world” and as “the greatest of all churches of Christendom”.

In Roman Catholic tradition, the basilica is the burial site of its namesake Saint Peter, who was one of the twelve apostles of Jesus and, according to tradition, the first Bishop of Rome and therefore first in the line of the papal succession. Tradition and some historical evidence hold that Saint Peter’s tombis directly below the altar of the basilica. For this reason, many Popes have been interred at St. Peter’s since the Early Christian period. There has been a church on this site since the 4th century. Construction of the present basilica, over the old Constantinian basilica, began on 18 April 1506 and was completed on 18 November 1626.

St. Peter’s is famous as a place of pilgrimage, for its liturgical functions and for its historical associations. It is associated with the papacy, with the Counter-reformation and with numerous artists, most significantly Michelangelo. As a work of architecture, it is regarded as the greatest building of its age. Contrary to popular misconception, Saint Peter’s is not a cathedral, as it is not the seat of a bishop. It is properly termed a papal basilica. The Archbasilica of St. John Lateran is the cathedral church of Rome.

The official mother church of the Roman Catholic Church

The Papal Archbasilica of St. John Lateran (Italian: Arcibasilica Papale di San Giovanni in Laterano), commonly known as St. John Lateran’s Archbasilica and St. John Lateran’s Basilica, is the cathedral church of the Diocese of Rome and the official ecclesiastical seat of the Bishop of Rome, who is the Pope. The official name, in Latin, is Archibasilica Sanctissimi Salvatoris et Sanctorum Iohannes Baptista et Evangelista in Laterano, which translates in English as Archbasilica of the Most Holy Saviour and Ss. John the Baptist and the Evangelist at the Lateran, and in Italian as Arcibasilica del Santissimo Salvatore e Santi Giovanni Battista ed Evangelista in Laterano.

It is the oldest and ranks first among the four Papal Basilicas or major basilicas of Rome (having the cathedra of the Bishop of Rome). It claims the title of ecumenical mother church among Roman Catholics. The current archpriest of St. John Lateran is Agostino Vallini, Cardinal Vicar General for the Diocese of Rome. The President of the French Republic, currently Nicolas Sarkozy, is ex officio the “first and only honorary canon” of the basilica, a title inherited from the Kings of France, who have held it since Henry IV of France.

07/12/1998 Awake!

Dreams

This blog is copied from The Journal of Dreams. One of seven journals to be published after the painting’s release. The Journal of Dreams begins in July 1998 after awakening from deep sleep July 13Th, 1998 and realizing night was filled with dreams of The Revelation Painting.

July 12Th, 1998

Today is my mother, Mary Ann’s birthday. She seemed somewhat sad earlier on the telephone talking about a project she was working on and asked for my help.  I obliged knowing it would be a futile effort this time as it had been for the past 10 years. She had been tied up working feverishly on Spindletop, Texas and her belief our family was the original owner of that land. Although we had been down the road to Spindletop many times in the past, I felt obligated to help her, to give her hope in her desolate life deep in the West Virginia mountains.

Mary Ann

404534_240963542652742_1727090926_nShe is a very skillful, self-taught painter but has lost her desire to paint in the past years becoming consumed by isolation and depression. I remembered her telling me once that when my youngest sister left home, she would have no reason to continue life. My sister had moved out some time before. When my mother said that, I gazed deeply into her blue eyes for any sign of untruth and it was not there. She was telling me that she would die of loneliness whether from a broken heart or suicide, it was clear that she was serious.

Whether the Spindletop endeavor was a delusion or not, Mary Ann was my mother and not only did I know what she meant by stating she would have no reason to continue life, I knew that making Spindletop would create a kind of child in the house she so longed for and it would ultimately save her life. Nearly everyday I called her and talked about Spindletop and the information I had found in the libraries, Internet, and other sources. I kept her busy and that kept her alive.

There were three things that would fire up passion in my mother; Spindletop, talking about her paintings, and asking her to relive the story of her death when she was twelve years old. We had talked about Spindletop for months, then months became years, and for some reason, perhaps because it was her birthday, today the topic was shifted to “the story” of her death at twelve. Although I had heard the story many times growing up, each time it was retold and relived was like the first time.

This is the seed of The Revelation Painting and I am convinced of that beyond any doubt. When Mary Ann told the story of her death in such artistic detail and emotion it was like I had been beside her and saw every detail. I asked my mother to tell me the story and she eagerly agreed. Her voice softened as she began to remember, like the humble and respect of being given another chance at life. Her voice was as it had been when I was a child and she was about to tell me something about life that demanded full attention. She began to speak.

“It happened when I was twelve years old. I was laying beside my mom in the bed when all the sudden I felt like I couldn’t breathe. No air would move in or out, I was suffocating! I tried to move and I couldn’t, I tried to yell out to my mother and I couldn’t. I was going to die and I knew it. I was afraid and began to panic. My heart was pounding, my eyes were wide open and just when I thought I could not take it anymore a feeling of calm came over me. My eyes closed and I didn’t have to breathe any longer.

The room became bright. I sat up and I looked for the source of the light to find shiny, golden stairs at the foot of the bed, illuminated and so clean. The stairs were long, so long that I couldn’t see the top of them. Something made me go to them, I had to see where they went and I knew I was supposed to walk up them. Upon stepping on them and walking up it was like I didn’t have to try, almost like floating. My feet touched them but I didn’t breathe hard, I don’t think I had to breathe anymore.

When I got to the top, there was a man dressed all in white standing before a beautiful pearl gate. His skin was golden. Not a white man, not a black man but something between like golden brown. He had piercing green eyes but his face was friendly, I knew he would not hurt me, he glowed of love and peace. The gate was closed but I could see through. The floor was shiny like glass and the glare of the shine was so brilliant I could not see if it was translucent or any color, it was just so shiny clean like the glare on glass.

All of the sudden the man said: “Where have you been?” in a startling voice! I didn’t know what to say. I didn’t know what he meant, I hadn’t been anywhere. I didn’t answer, he opened the gate and said in a hurried voice: “Hurry up, he’s been waiting for you!” I felt as though I had to hurry and stepped through the gate. He said: “You shouldn’t keep him waiting.” I remember thinking: “Who?”, but then my attention was drawn to so many people to my right side dressed all in white. A feeling of love, warmth and happiness overwhelmed me.

I tried to see their faces and although I knew them, I couldn’t see their faces. I knew that they loved me and were happy to see me. Hundreds of people and I could feel their love. I don’t know how long I stood there when the man said: “Come this way, he is waiting.” We walked to a door which I was compelled to push open and when I did, the brightest light I had ever seen nearly blinded me. I knew that if I wasn’t supposed to be there the light would have blinded me and I wasn’t afraid.

There was a man…something like a man I think. The light was so bright I was unable to make him out. His face was so bright it was impossible to see his eyes, or nose or mouth. Suddenly he began to speak and it was like thunder! I still was not scared though. His voice spoke every language at the same time but I was able to hear my language. It sounded like a creek flowing, like bubbles on the rocks…ploop, plop, doop, doop. He said: “Where have you been, I have been waiting for you?”

I told him I was with my family, my mother and he said it was my time now, I had to come with him. Feeling afraid I told him I wanted to go back to my mother and he said I had been bad. It was time for me to come with him. I tried to think how I had been bad and couldn’t think of what I had done but somehow know I had done something. I started to cry and pleaded with him to let me go back to my family. He said: “I will let you go but remember I will come for you like a thief in the night, you will not know when!”

He continued to say not to tell anyone about this until I was 18 years old. He said: “You will have three chances.” I started to ask what he meant by “three chances” and his voice became very loud and he said: “Run, run now before I change my mind!” All I thought was to run and run fast! As I was running through the door he said: “You will have three chances” and started to laugh. I continued to run through the door, past all the people and down the stairs back to the bed lying beside my mother and I didn’t tell anyone what happened.

When I try to remember back to what happened after I made it back to the bed I can’t remember anything. You are the first I told about it and I was much older than 18 before I told the story. When you were a baby and I looked in your eyes, I knew you were different. Your eyes scared me, but I don’t know why, like a bottomless pit. I don’t know what the dream meant but I know that you are different and you always have been. I knew it since the day you were born and I looked at your eyes.”

In West Virginia millions of stars light the sky at night. Within them lives imagination and something comforting. Oddly enough Mary Ann lives where a creek babbles the words only she can hear. She doesn’t talk about what she hears at night in those dark, dark mountains of West Virginia where the absolute sounds of silence are often times as loud as thunder and the thunder drowns out the sounds of life and the living. Sometimes when I visit, in the middle of the night she says: “Let’s go outside and lay on the picnic table and look at the stars.”

Mary Ann is changing, or maybe she changed long ago. When a child leaves home for a time and returns everything is different. I never realized that during star-gazing with my mother there are voices within a creek flowing less than 20 feet away. West Virginia is known as “almost heaven” oddly enough. I can’t say that I have ever heard the voice of God talking to me in all languages through the bubbling and babbling crystal clear waters or that I ever realized it was just us three; Mary Ann, me and God.

personal19

Little do I know why my mother fears my eyes, it is disturbing. Her cracking voice of memory tells me that the fear of God she has within her is tied to the piercing, green eyes of the gatekeeper at the top of the stairs the day she almost lost her life.  It makes perfect sense to me. I have a feeling my eyes remind her of him and she struggles with mixed emotions of fear and love. Somewhere along the line I realized that I am one of the three chances she was offered in lieu of life, and that this painting is what she molded me my entire life for through the story of heaven and God, art and imagination.

Could it be that my mother was spared to become the messenger and her destiny was changed for the greater good of the world?  Everyone ponders existence, especially their own and when trying to see what my mother’s existence was for, I see The Revelation Painting.  When I ponder my own existence, I see the massive painting, and feel the warmth of light and energy, and know that I am one of the “three chances”.  Although still unsure of the three chances and what it truly means, I am sure that I am a valuable part of it.  There are five children, 3 sisters and 1 brother.  Three of us were born one year apart, the others some time later.  Could it be that the 3 born a year apart are the chances?  Time will tell.

July 13Th, 1998  …to be continued…

Addendum:  Mary Ann died in 2006.  She walked the stairs and once again met the Gatekeeper and this time she did not come back.

Secret #2

Making of The Black Horse and His Eye

In the beginning of the making of the Black Horse the difficulty was nearly so much that I felt I would give up at any time.  There are 40 horses overlapped, one upon the other in search of the horse in my mind, within my imagination.  I have learned that the 40 horses are those of battle, my battle in learning to paint a horse.  Even now as he nears completion, he is not the original horse in my mind, the one turned more toward the viewer with flared nostrils filled with morning dew breathing the crisp fog when hot energetic air meets the cooled air of the morning.  The difficulty is mainly in my deficit regarding painting a horse. As an “artist” I find myself unprepared although I have imprinted images of some of the most magnificent horses in the world within my own mind.  One day the virtual world will bring what is in the mind to canvas but until that day it is the hand which projects what rest within the mind’s eye.

You have heard me rant about time being the enemy which is an obsession of mine but in this case, time helped me to see the error of my ways.  In the moments of time, while I looked relentlessly at the horse, I began to see that not only is he a main focal point of the entire painting, but also that his eye was placed awkwardly and anatomically wrong in the painting.   Oddly enough over the years, no one else had noticed it either, or if they did they did not dare speak of it.  Artist respect may have played a significant role in no one mentioning what they saw or prehaps didn’t see at all.  As many photos and live horses I had looked at, somehow I did not see it either.  There was a specific plan for that eye for that past couple of years and that could have easily pulled my attention away from it until the day I finally brought to life the image of the secret I had planned.  As Mona Lisa is known from being DaVinci in feminine form, the eye is mine.

These are the journals associated in part with The Revelation Painting.

The blogs are rough drafts of sections of the journals which will be published after the painting is released (projected release dates for the journals: 12/2013-2015). I have chosen to publish these blogs and not keep them private as it will give the audience an opportunity to learn and grow with The Revelation Painting in this last year which I term: The Finale’.

The blogs are in no particular order visible to you but they are being separated into their respective journals behind the scenes. These journals hold several mysteries unveiled in The Book of Revelation from the bible which have been missed throughout history and once revealed will change history as we know it. So you are reading history in the making!

The Revelation Painting is created for the people of the globe and for the past eleven years, people have participated in its creation. The overall endeavor is to create visual peace in these times of turmoil throughout the world. It is an opportunity to focus on something beautiful and designed to place the viewer in awe. Please see the blog about the painting at:www.therevelationpainting.wordpress.com

The Journals included with this painting are as follows:

Journal I The Journal of Dreams

This journal summarizes where and how the painting originated, the initial attempts at its creation, essentially the beginning of the work through its completion. Background on the artist, past experiences, current experiences and thoughts, ideas and feelings while working on this masterpiece are captured within the pages of the journal. It contains rare insight into an artist mind while working on a masterpiece!

Journal II The Journal of Visions

Exploring imagination and visually preparing for this huge project, the journal recalls where the vision arose and how it developed throughout the twelve total years required to complete The Revelation Painting. It explores the artist views and personal battles with religion, God, the “calling” as a messenger to complete this massive religious painting.

Journal III Journal of Measures

The Journal of Measures covers not only the grids and precise measurement required for a 12 foot by 40 foot creation, but the numbers and coincidences found throughout the twelve years required to complete the painting. Small sketched works were required to become at times “larger than life”. The journal is in graph form to help facilitate readability and understanding of the creative and sometimes scientific processes required to manually enlarge drawings without the aid of electronics or other artificial means.

Journal IV Journal of Sketches

Preliminary thoughts are sketched and worked through in order to create the perfect scene, exactly how the artist conceptualized the painting upon completion. Starting often times as merely stick images, working through to the completed characters or scenes. The journal also includes required experimentation to create a painting which would be durable enough to withstand the test of time, e.g., the effects of the raw mineral sulfur and its acidic effects on cloth canvas.

Journal V The Stones

In depth coverage regarding the stones of the twelve foundations noted in The New City are covered in this journal. Geological, metaphysical, spiritual and origins are also covered. Stories about global participation in obtaining the stones are also covered. Tools, lacquer, and very significant mystery of Revelation is disclosed in this journal.

Journal VI Truth-The Hemorrhage of Pigs!

The artist reveals the profound change made in the painting in 2009 and how it occurred. Where religion became political and how it forced the artist to find a way to make the painting stay in its original religious state, yet in moments change into a political piece revealing corruption and essentially crimes against humanity! This is the climax behind the story of The Revelation Painting which will shock and astound followers of the series when it is realized that there has been a battle of good and evil within the painting the entire time! The painting bleeds-a hemorrhage and returns to its normal state right in front of your eyes!

Journal VII Journal of Acknowledgement

This is the journal where all participants globally are acknowledged for their participation in the project and completion of The Revelation Painting. A one page advertising area is offered (text only, no photography), to advertise business, make a statement to the world, or anything the author wishes. Contributions can range from a comment, marketing, to sponsorship or obtaining materials. Everyone is acknowledged, some to the point of limited ownership of a random section of the painting!

The journal titles are written in english and subtitles of the journals as well as subtitles of the scenes of the painting are written in random languages. The journals will be designed appropriately and with the highest hand quality a painting such as The Revelation Painting deserves and designed to last more than a lifetime.

The Revelation Painting

INTRODUCTION:

THE REVELATION PAINTING

La Pittura di Rivelazione

Overview: 12 feet tall x 40 feet long utilizing thirty 48″ X 48″ canvases. Twenty canvases are gallery wrapped, highest quality to withstand the test of time, six are custom birch wood, with holes drilled of various sizes and fully functioning doors on the backs. Four canvases are custom birch wood in order to carry the weight of over $140,000.00 of crushed precious and semi precious gemstones. The pearl gates are made from crushed Akoya, Japanese saltwater pearls! The painting incorporates thousands and thousands of dollars worth of highest quality Golden and Liquitex acrylic paints, 24K gold flake and leaf, and complete fiber optics set ups which illuminate God in a way never seen before in fine art. Customized sections of the painting give it the ability to move and bleed (Truth-The Hemorrhage of Pigs!), then returning to its natural state.

The painting initially appears as a religious painting alone, the final book of the bible, Revelation with seven magnificent scenes and sub-scenes labeled in various languages, yet underlying there is another painting of politics and corruption. Within the painting is the ancient and ongoing battle of good v.s evil, mysteries and messages embedded within the artwork which are not readily visible. The making of this painting has spanned nearly 16 years and is estimated to be released 2014-2015. Upon the painting’s release, a stunning revelation will be revealed which ties this painting to current world events which was not discovered until 09/2009. Two other unknown mysteries of Revelation were also uncovered while creating this painting and have been missed throughout history! Please see the blogs for more detailed information about the making of this historical work of art created by one artist, and the photos as they are updated.

Upon the release of The Revelation Painting seven journals will also be released within 2015-2016 which give an unusual first hand look inside the mind of an artist while visualizing and detailing each scene revealing the trials and tribulations of aspects required to make the painting. The Journal of Measures (and Numbers) details not only the transition of moving an idea to giant size, it also covers odd events regarding numbers associated with the painting. The Journal of Sketches reveals artwork from the conceptual stages and beyond. The stones used in the painting are discussed in a journal named: The Stones, and Truth-The Hemorrhage of Pigs! talks about the section of the painting which bleeds.

Within The Journal of Acknowledgement participants are given an opportunity to express information to the world! World-wide exposure to the arts in many regions dealing personally to obtain supplies for this historical painting. My endeavor is to help bring knowledge around the globe of not only the beauty of arts all over the world but to help people understand that profound inspiration exist in a world not so far from their own! My first stop…Africa!  With global participation in The Revelation Painting for the past twelve years there has been silent participation from all over the globe to complete this work of fine art; what I consider to be a “global effort”. The ultimate endeavor is to bring a sense of unity through visual peace by bringing to light the beauty of natural resources, therefore the people of that region or area. Mysteries of Revelation which have pulled at the threads of many genius human beings are revealed within the painting as well.

Seven journals will accompany this massive work of art. Nothing like this has ever been done in art or the history of mankind! My Creative Influences & Favorite Artists, The Philosophy of the Revelation Painting: Philosophy is the study of general and fundamental problems concerning matters such as existence, knowledge, values, reason, mind, and language distinguished from other ways of addressing fundamental questions (such as mysticism, myth, or the arts) by its critical, generally systematic approach and its reliance on rational argument. The word “Philosophy” comes from the Greek φιλοσοφία [philosophia], which literally means “love of wisdom”.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PhilosophyAs noted in the definition of philosophy: A simple and profound question to ask yourself is simply, why am I here? The Revelation Painting helps to bring to light an answer to that question by subjecting the viewer to a combination of factors that overlap in the world we live in. In order to see why we are here, we have to see the world around us. There is a significant difference in “seeing” and understanding, it is a global effect. We can look at every single detail but miss the entire forest because of the trees. To understand, for example how the forest survives, you must understand the delicate balance of life but you cannot think that you understand if you do not see the “big” picture, otherwise it is no less than walking around blind with 20/20 vision!

How the problems in the philosophy are addressed throughout The Revelation Painting is approached through certainly what would be termed an unconventional route. Artist throughout history have used their talent to help their audience see life through a perspective very different from what they are accustom. People are attracted to the different view of the world gazing through the artist’s eyes mainly because it is an escape from the world they are used to or literally trapped within. The world of imagination can take anyone as far as they would like to go whether it is by their own hand, or that of an artist. Often times an artist’ endeavor is to connect with the viewer.

Difficulty arises through expression whether it be an idea, placing a shadow correctly within a work of art, or most often bringing an idea to reality. Historically the renowned artists are those who were able to achieve a connection with people through their art and master the difficulties associated, hence the “Masters”. The Revelation Painting’s effort to master difficulties of projecting ideas to vision and within the painting is a core network projecting the delicate balance of life in an unconventional manner. The blogs, journals and information associated with the painting was designed to help the viewer understand the complexity of the unseen network within the forest of this massive painting.

The Journal of Dreams 03/15/2010

Pigment (Green) Tool of the Painting (Chlorophyll)

Making pigment is often times a difficult task.  In drying berries and other live things, it is important to slowly dry them to preserve the color.  Grass makes for a brilliant green-yellow pigment and the reason for that is its Chlorophyll which is a magnificent component of plants in the way it interacts with light to create energy…the energy for life.  The green color of Chlorophyll stains (like the Tide detergent commercial where kids have grass stains on their knees), and is very difficult, if not impossible to remove.  This is a good thing for the making of pigment.

393387_10150522114284805_389581002_n

Due to the staining properties and my abode being rented, I opted the purchasing of concentrated Chlorophyll in an easy to disperse dropper bottle.  I preferred the type not distilled by alcohol as that might effect the longevity or viability of the painting.  After much research, I chose a product called Chloro-Oxygen.  Remarkably enough this product can also be taken in water to provide healthy nutrients for the human body, just as plants!  My personal goal is to drink a glass every time I use it to create pigment.

390697_10150522115589805_1867154642_n

So, in order to capture the “pure” green and vibrant color of natural Chlorophyll, I drip one drop at a time into a small amount of clear acrylic polymer to produce light through dark green hues.  The resulting color is more vibrant that the expensive Golden colors I mainly use for the painting.  After I create the color, I slowly mix in a color, depending on what I want to achieve, such as a yellow or blue, or even white.  It is very exciting to watch what is essentially a mystery unfold.  There are times, of course where I am disappointed and those colors I turn into browns.

Chlorophyll (also chlorophyl) is a green pigment found in almost all plants, algae, and cyanobacteria. Its name is derived from the Greek words χλωρος, chloros (“green”) and φύλλον, phyllon (“leaf”). Chlorophyll is an extremely important biomolecule, critical in photosynthesis, which allows plants to obtain energy from light. Chlorophyll absorbs light most strongly in the blue portion of the electromagnetic spectrum, followed by the red portion. However, it is a poor absorber of green and near-green portions of the spectrum, hence the green color of chlorophyll-containing tissues. Chlorophyll was first isolated by Joseph Bienaimé Caventou and Pierre Joseph Pelletier in 1817.

Chlorophyll is vital for photosynthesis, which allows plants to obtain energy from light.  Chlorophyll molecules are specifically arranged in and around photosystems that are embedded in the thylakoid membranes of chloroplasts. In these complexes, chlorophyll serves two primary functions. The function of the vast majority of chlorophyll (up to several hundred molecules per photosystem) is to absorb light and transfer that light energy by resonance energy transfer to a specific chlorophyll pair in the reaction center of the photosystems.

The two currently accepted photosystem units are Photosystem II and Photosystem I, which have their own distinct reaction center chlorophylls, named P680 and P700, respectively. These pigments are named after the wavelength (in nanometers) of their red-peak absorption maximum. The identity, function and spectral properties of the types of chlorophyll in each photosystem are distinct and determined by each other and the protein structure surrounding them. Once extracted from the protein into a solvent (such as acetone ormethanol), these chlorophyll pigments can be separated in a simple paper chromatography experiment and, based on the number of polar groups between chlorophyll a and chlorophyll b, will chemically separate out on the paper.

Chlorophyll is registered as a food additive (colorant), and its E number is E140. Chefs use chlorophyll to color a variety of foods and beverages green, such as pasta and absinthe. Chlorophyll is not soluble in water, and it is first mixed with a small quantity of vegetable oil to obtain the desired solution. Extracted liquid chlorophyll was considered to be unstable and always denatured until 1997, when Frank S. & Lisa Sagliano used freeze-drying of liquid chlorophyll at the University of Florida and stabilized it as a powder, preserving it for future use.

RED and the Hummingbird

It is an odd thing, life.  Never had I liked the color red much in my younger years, it was not until my older years that red best suited my need for various expression.  In The Revelation Painting, it has grown into the passion and life’s blood of the painting itself.  I found a wealth of information regarding color and the effects it has on our psychological understanding, or feelings and the impact it has that often times we are unaware of.

In researching red in business matters, I wanted to see why the Hummingbird was attracted to the red color.  I found that it is because the color shades they can see are green and red. And since most of their surroundings are green (trees) the red stands out to them.  Then I thought about business, people in general and know that often times people are overwhelmed by life and their minds mute their environment making the red attractive.

When a person is attracted to the seductive red color, maybe they cannot see the dangers or “the big picture” because the red dominates their passion and desires.  When this happens, a psychological happiness occurs and the person is left vulnerable…under the spell of red.  Walking around in a world hypnotized under a seductive “spell” could prove less than favorable and against the very grain of existence.  Remember business is a predator, it wants you!

Color Meanings in Business

Understanding color meanings in business is essential when you are establishing a business profile. Color psychology affects our lives in so many ways, yet we often don’t realize the impact of our color choices on our website colors, on our stationery and packaging, in our retail store or office, in our marketing or our business clothing. Color has a powerful subconscious effect on every part of our lives, without even saying a word; an understanding of color meanings in business gives us an invaluable tool to get the best response to our marketing and promotional efforts and ultimately to create a successful business.

In applying the information about color meanings in business to enhance your own business profile and marketing, don’t use any color entirely on its own; it is always best to use a complementary color with your main choice as over-use of any one color can negate its effect and in fact have the opposite effect.

There is almost always more than one option of color combinations to assist your business, so you don’t have to choose any color that you do not like or resonate to. Or you may use the disliked color in a very small amount to get the response you want from your customer. For example, you may use just a very small amount of red to indicate your passion or energy for your business or as a call to action button on your website. Read all the information on each color in this ‘color meanings in business’ section to determine the best choices for your business.

Red: color meanings in business

Red is a warm and positive color, a very physical color which draws attention to itself and calls for action to be taken.

In color psychology red means energy, passion, action, strength and excitement.

Red stimulates the physical senses such as the appetite, lust and sexual passion. Although it is often used to express love, it really relates more to sexual passion and lust – pink relates more to romantic love than red.

Red represents masculine energy, whereas its softer version, pink, is associated with feminine energy.

Red, a universal sign of danger and warning, can also show and create aggressiveness and anger, particularly if used to excess in the wrong applications.

Physiologically, red stimulates and energizes the physical body, including the nerves and the circulation of blood, raising blood pressure and heart rate. It is stimulating to the appetite and therefore a great color to use for any product associated with food and its service, including restaurants and take-away businesses.

Red excites and motivates but in excess it can cause anxiety and tiredness. It also has negative connotations associated with blood, war and violence.

The color which most complements and balances red is turquoise, although green or blue will also create balance.

Key Words:

Positive Color Meanings in Business:

  • action, power, energy, speed
  • passion, desire, lust
  • strength, courage
  • attention-getting, motivating, stimulating, energizing
  • driven and determined
  • exciting, warm, spontaneous, assertive and confident

Negative Color Meanings in Business:

  • aggression and anger
  • domineering, over-bearing and tiring
  • quick-tempered, ruthless, fearful and intolerant
  • rebellious and obstinate
  • resentful, violent and brutal

Using Red in Business:

Often used as a warning sign, red is best used as an accent color as too much red can overwhelm.

Red will always elicit a passionate response but the response may be either positive or negative and you may have no control over this response as it will be in the hands of your potential customer.

Red encourages buyers to take action and make a purchase. For example, it could be used to tempt an impulse buy at the purchase counter in your store, as footprints or arrows directing people around your store or to your cash register, or for a ‘buy now’ button on a website.

A touch of red can be used as one of the colors on your website to indicate your energy and passion for your business. In larger amounts it is effective in the promotion of products or services related to food and appetite, energy, passion or speed.

The Journal of Dreams 03/13/2010

An artist’ view of poetry painted by an artist…

Primary Colors

Blue is not the sadness or sorrow its made out to be
It is of a calm, beautiful sky or raging sea

Red is not the anger, or hot, devil’s flames
It is the color of life energy
Which runs through all our veins

You may think yellow is the sun but

yellow is what yellow is
And you may ask: “What is that?”

The warmth of sun on a summer’s day
Simply the warmth that melts butter fat!

I thought about my mom today, maybe I had a dream about her…I don’t know.  Some weird things have happened to me in my lifetime, like knowing things before or when they happen.  I remember when I was just a girl, my father had come home with a box in the back of his truck.  As soon as I saw the box I said:  “Do you have a dog in that box?”  Sure enough he did!

And once I had gotten a Mr. Potato Head free for chewing a LOT of bubble gum.  Of course it took so long I’d forgotten about it and one day, out of the blue I said: “I wonder if my Mr. Potato Head will be here today and I looked down the street.  The mailman turned the corner in that moment, it was shocking.  I watched him stop at every house until he got to mine.  He got out of the truck and walked into the driveway and handed me a box…it was Mr. Potato Head!

There have been other things I prefer not to talk about but this poem is one I wrote shortly before my mother became ill.  Often times I wonder if my writing it and putting it on paper could have somehow caused her illness.  I know it sounds far-fetched but so does a lot of other things that have happened to me.  This poem stemmed from nights we stared at the stars together laying on the picnic table.

Camouflaged

(In loving memory of Mary Ann 1938-2006)

She was as thin as the twigs we walked upon and amongst…camouflaged
I didn’t know what to say…silent
What can be said to fresh death?

I wished to protect her, but I knew I could not…her flame was flickering
Perhaps if we hid under the cold, dry leaves, death would pass her by…camouflaged
Yet somehow I knew that it would not

I told her I loved her and held her tight in my arms
Believing in my strength to blanket her…protect her
Her skin cold now, the kind of cold that comes with death
And in that moment, a weak smile…she was gone

A little vibrant light in my hand, my mind; warmth
Floated gently toward the heavens; the stars
Until it was camouflaged among the many others
Camouflaged

This smoking is going to get me!  I need to quit-for real.  I tried the Chantix not long ago and I know I could have quit if I didn’t have the anxiety associated with running out.  At $240.00 a pop, I can’t pay for it.

In studying the Four Living Creatures today I found this, notice the two different looking but similar descriptions:

Ezekiel 1:1 Now it came to pass in the thirtieth year, in the fourth month, in the fifth day of the month, as I was among the captives by the river of Chebar, that the heavens were opened, and I saw visions of God.
2 In the fifth day of the month, which was the fifth year of king Jehoiachin’s captivity,
3 The word of the LORD came expressly unto Ezekiel the priest, the son of Buzi, in the land of the Chaldeans by the river Chebar; and the hand of the LORD was there upon him.
4 And I looked, and, behold, a whirlwind came out of the north, a great cloud, and a fire infolding itself, and a brightness was about it, and out of the midst thereof as the colour of amber, out of the midst of the fire.
5 Also out of the midst thereof came the likeness of four living creatures. And this was their appearance; they had the likeness of a man.
6 And every one had four faces, and every one had four wings.
7 And their feet were straight feet; and the sole of their feet was like the sole of a calf’s foot: and they sparkled like the colour of burnished brass.
8 And they had the hands of a man under their wings on their four sides; and they four had their faces and their wings.
9 Their wings were joined one to another; they turned not when they went; they went every one straight forward.
10 As for the likeness of their faces, they four had the face of a man, and the face of a lion, on the right side: and they four had the face of an ox on the left side; they four also had the face of an eagle.
11 Thus were their faces: and their wings were stretched upward; two wings of every one were joined one to another, and two covered their bodies.
12 And they went every one straight forward: whither the spirit was to go, they went; and they turned not when they went.
13 As for the likeness of the living creatures, their appearance was like burning coals of fire, and like the appearance of lamps: it went up and down among the living creatures; and the fire was bright, and out of the fire went forth lightning.
14 And the living creatures ran and returned as the appearance of a flash of lightning.

Revelation 4:1 After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will show thee things which must be hereafter.
2 And immediately I was in the spirit; and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne.
3 And he that sat was to look upon like a jasper and a sardine stone: and there was a rainbow round about the throne, in sight like unto an emerald.
4 And round about the throne were four and twenty seats: and upon the seats I saw four and twenty elders sitting, clothed in white raiment; and they had on their heads crowns of gold.
5 And out of the throne proceeded lightnings and thunderings and voices: and there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God.
6 And before the throne there was a sea of glass like unto crystal: and in the midst of the throne, and round about the throne, were four beasts full of eyes before and behind.
7 And the first beast was like a lion, and the second beast like a calf, and the third beast had a face as a man, and the fourth beast was like a flying eagle.
8 And the four beasts had each of them six wings about him; and they were full of eyes within: and they rest not day and night, saying, Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come.

I’ve got a countdown clock on the social page of the website.  I hate to look at it.  I have 2 hundred and something days left, like someone drifting at sea waiting to be rescued.  I started taking some stuff called Cellfood which I believe is just hydrogen peroxide.  It is supposed to increase your energy by adding oxygen to your cells.  I have taken it before but cannot say if it really works.

I dropped back on Twitter and started focusing on MySpace and Facebook but there is not much interaction.  It is good to post things now and then because it helps the “crawlers” on the internet pick up the revelation name and connect to the social network…I have yet to see the positive outcome from any of it.  I am locked down on Twitter at 2000 follows and cannot follow anyone else.

In studying the eagle I have worked on, I realized there is a lot of white canvas compared to the rest of the painting, so I increased the wing span.  His wings are long now and different on their ends.  Some of them I like, some of them I do not.  Six wings are odd to anatomically place in any correct manner anyway.  It may be a good idea to look at an octopus’ legs.  Weird stuff…

The Journal of Dreams 03/09/2010

Working on the many, many eyes.  I am trying to make them POP out of the canvas and trying to imagine a hologram to make them move around!  Can’t decide on just the eyeball like a circle or the white of the socket as well.  There are so many things to think about and most of them are after the painting starts.  Even the measurements and sketches can’t find all the problems which develop.  Like the whites of the eyes.  No matter how many coats of white I apply, it still is not the brightest white.  I’m having trouble figuring out why.  Maybe it is just the lighting.

When it gets warmer, I think I will paint outside in the sunlight to get the true light of the sun.  I could get full spectrum lighting for the studio area but that is to expensive now.  Full spectrum lighting is supposed to be good for your attitude and mood.  It is supposed to make you feel happy.  Used in the treatment of S.A.D-Seasonal Affective Disorder, which makes people feel depressed in the winter, these lights would most likely help me with my anger management too.  Maybe next winter.  I love a lot of bright, white light!

Well, back to the eyes while I have the desire.

The Journal of Dreams 03/08/2010

Today is a time for personal reflection and prioritizing.  Looking at my obsessions of the painting, the New World Order, work and regular everyday life.  I HAVE to cure what is ailing me and make a plan that gets me out of bed every morning but most importantly, lets me sleep at night.

The Journal of Dreams 03/07/2010

I was remembering back, when I first found out about this New World Order stuff and the effect it had on me, I didn’t work for days, just couldn’t function.  Wondering then and still wondering if all my dreams and goals are just shit.  This stuff angers me, it destroys all I was ever taught.  It is dark and scary and still is.  Finding myself entranced for hours looking at videos on YouTube trying to disprove what I see.

I have said before, sometime in these many, many blogs that I have a problem with faith.  Having to see to believe, and I am believing this stuff, I know it is real.  In knowing that it is real, it is crushing me.  My motivation to paint is nearly gone although I try to spark the passion and to spill Truth-The Hemorrhage of Pigs!, all over God in Scene II…the urgency of everyday life takes priority.

To continue would take a fool, prioritizing dreams over reality wouldn’t it?  To continue everyday life like there will be a tomorrow and ignoring that tomorrow, the way I know life is as now may suddenly cease.  The stress of it is overwhelming.  How can a person sleep without having one ear constantly tuned to any noise, or stay asleep when there could be breaking news…

When my mother got sick I ran away from it, I did not want to see her deteriorate.  I wanted to remember her full of life and vibrant.  Finally getting over the guilt of leaving her and wondering if I had been around, would she still be here, I find myself doing it all over again.  Taking care of strangers, of people I don’t even know and who most certainly do not care about me and my well-being.

How can I continue this charade when me and mine are at risk?  What if tomorrow everything I know changed, would I be ready?  What if tomorrow, I found someone kicking in my door, taking me to a concentration camp?  What if during the middle of the night I awaken to an earthquake by H.A.A.R.P?  What if, what if, what if…Am I supposed to be naive and trust that it will never happen?

I am believing there is a God, or something greater than us for sure.  In that belief, Revelation tells a great story-a prophesy.  I know that to be true beyond a reasonable doubt.  Even though I know this, I still have not set things straight with my maker.  There is no inner peace of a New City for me.  I have to question why?  Why am I the one to take on this great burden, lately it feels overwhelming.

I cannot remember the last time I really smiled or laughed and felt truly happy.  It seems as though if a person were doing “God’s Work”, the happiness would radiate from them like sunshine…doesn’t it?  I cannot say that I have become God-fearing but i can say that I have become man fearing and what used to be plans for the future have become plans for daily survival beyond this nightmare.

The Journal of Dreams 03/06/2010

No painting today.  I worked on the website for a while.  I am trying to learn how to make the site visible with all major search engines and boost the views.  On all the combined sites, there have been neary 18,000 views but what does it all mean?  I am not getting responses on the STOCK CARDS or from the GIVE/TAKE page.  Maybe it is all an overwhelming amount of information.

I think I need to rethink my strategies.  Time is running out.

The Journal of Dreams 03/05/2010

Although I am off today, I got up earlier than usual, or than I has to.  I have a bad obsession with losing time; the time that I have to enjoy life or do the things I want to do with the time I have.  It is a terrible thing, like an obsessive compulsive disorder where I get up and feel miserable all day.  Most likely if I had stayed sleeping just one more hour, the day would be brighter and I would have energy.

I’ve been up since 4:30am and it is 2pm and I have done nothing but smoke a lot of cigarettes and drink the coffee I have waited to wake me up…stupid.  I am going to lay back down regretfully to try to awaken and feel as though I am enjoying this time I have…

It is 7:35pm and although I tried to stay sleeping, the constant feeling of wasting this day off made me bolt out of bed.  I am sitting here smoking and drinking coffee, feeling like crap.  I ended up right where I began and ended only to begin again…what a waste of time.

The Journal of Dreams 03/03/2010

Although I am working today, I need to find out how to write a professional press release.  Previously I had contacted the major news media but have not received a reply for any of them.  Most likely going about this the wrong way, this is an imperative part of the painting and its advertising.

My computer is filling up with information and running slower and slower.  I am awaiting the crash and loss of all my information.  I should also take the time to burn CD’s of the information as well as back ups.  The photos used for reference material of the various scenes are the major byte eaters.

I checked the mail a little while ago and found chunks of chrysoprase!  I love to receive the stones, they are highly motivational.  I started working intermittently on The Stones journal and the most favorite part of it is looking up country information where the stones are commonly mined.

The second favorite part is the spiritual sections; what each stone offers and their sacred and current meanings.  Within this information, it is clear that stones are somehow a significant part of us and our world.  I would like a cuff bracelet with the 12 stones to wear everyday!

The Journal of Dreams 03/02/2010

Today I spent time crushing rainbow, and “ghost” quartz.  I had to go to an abandoned warehouse parking lot due to the noise of it.  The tool to crush the stones is metal and when placed on the floor (concrete here), or other surface, it has a most powerful impact.  It is so powerful that even if I try not to blink my eyes, I cannot.  I found myself laughing because of a memory I had with my brother when we were younger.

He had bought a car that looked like a black hearse and fixed it up but the outside was rough compared to the inside where he had an entire sound system, an equalizer and all.  He liked to listen to Back in Black by AC/DC,  I was in the car one day and we were driving.  He said listen to this.  The thump of the beginning of Back in Black made my heart feel as though it would stop beating!

In such a confined space, it was outrageous!  Although I kept smiling, I felt as though I would go mad.  I remember my brother looking over at me, bobbing his head, and I looked over at him with my eyes jerking with every beat, smiling, thinking the first time he stops I am jumping out!  That is what the sound of the stone crusher makes when I crush stones!  Add the hollow concrete floor and it is overwhelming, like being in a box, or a closed in-car feeling like you want to jump out.

At the parking lot crushing stones, I realized that the quartz is a little harder than other stones.  I wasted many pieces, turning them into a white powder.  The sun shined on the shards but they were not filled with rainbow prisms as I had imagined.  Mainly clear with the ability to capture light, they were not what I imagined God to look like in the painting.  Feeling sad, I headed home.

The Journal of Dreams 03/01/2010

Having trouble on the job…trying to stay positive but I am in a downward spiral.  I wrote a note to the manager.  Usually I try to just “let it go” but these are SERIOUS situations and endangerment to life…I cannot just “let it go”.

People often ponder the universal, philosophical question of the meaning of life:  Why am I here and what is my purpose in life?  When I think about my mother’s revelation at 12 years old and my current destination, I believe the connection is remarkable!  Could it have been that my mother was a vehicle that carried me, and that her artistic nurturing developed the abilities and imagination required to create The Revelation Painting?

Is my day job just to go around bringing to light the things that need fixed, like Pulp Fiction’s “Wolf” character?  I wondered about that a long time ago.  I remember thinking when it all started that I would travel around until I found a place to call “home”, a place where people are like me, and where I am happy everyday of my life.  For almost 20 years I have been unable to find that place, not here in the United States anyway.  Maybe it is time to look abroad.

The Journal of Dreams 02/26/2010

While spending the majority of my life in “professional” environments, I noticed that there are missions and philosophies connected to dreams and ambitions.  I have created a rough philosophy for the painting:

The Philosophy of the Revelation Painting

Philosophy is the study of general and fundamental problems concerning matters such as existence, knowledge, values, reason, mind, and language distinguished from other ways of addressing fundamental questions (such as mysticism, myth, or the arts) by its critical, generally systematic approach and its reliance on rational argument.  The word “Philosophy” comes from the Greek φιλοσοφία [philosophia], which literally means “love of wisdom”.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Philosophy

As noted in the definition of philosophy and —————

A simple and profound question to ask yourself is simply, why am I here?  The Revelation Painting helps to bring to light an answer to that question by subjecting the viewer to a combination of factors that overlap in the world we live in.  In order to see why we are here, we have to see the world around us.  There is a significant difference in “seeing” and understanding, it is a global effect.  We can look at every single detail but miss the entire forest because of the trees.  To understand, such as how the forest survives, you must understand the delicate balance of life but you cannot think that you understand if you do not see the “big” picture, otherwise it is no less than walking around blind with 20/20 vision!

Often times an artist’ endeavor is to achieve a connection with the viewer.

Difficulty arises through expression whether it be an idea, placing a shadow correctly within a work of art, or most often bringing an idea to reality.  Historically the renowned artists are those who were able to achieve a connection with people through their art and master the difficulties associated, hence the “Masters”.  The Revelation Painting’s effort to master difficulties of projecting ideas to vision and within the painting is a core network projecting the delicate balance of life in an unconventional way.  The blogs, journals and information associated with the painting was designed to help the viewer understand the complexity of the unseen network within the forest of this massive painting.

The Journal of Dreams 02/25/2010

Today I am working on the eyes of the eagle.  I didn’t realize the work in this section, it is going to get me behind due to time consumption.  Colored pencils will help in completing the detail.  I am undecided on just how detailed I want to go though, like small red veins in the eyes or not.  I need to create something like super fine silly string similar to fine threads that is magnetically drawn to the whites of the eyes and easily brushes off everything else!  Wishful thinking?

I chose Terra-Cotta for the wings of the eagle, it is a beautiful color, and I will shadow with Burnt Umber.  In thinking ahead, the colors should be able to play off one another in the other creatures since they are somehow connected.  The “human” face will be female-not male and her wings will be Apricot which matches the highlights of the eagle wings.  From there, now I am unsure but do know that the calf will be the one most in the light and closest to God in the painting.

The major dilemma here is the wings distortion due to the light.  I will have to place the wings first and keep bringing the light in where some of the wings show through, taking care not to lose the details of the eyes.  The best way to approach this would be to make a light rinse of white paint, create the shape of light coming in and work backwards to coat and re-coat the area until the white is strong enough to seem like light yet minimally opaque to let the wings show through.

There is a lot of planning in this section and high risk for error.  If the eyes and wings must be painted over, the underlying texture will disrupt the smooth, even flow of the white (6 coats) previously applied.  The real feather wingtips will also show through if painted over making the error highly apparent.  Regardless, thinking and working it out at a slow and meticulous pace should alleviate the anxiety I am feeling about this section of the painting.

The Journal of Dreams 02/24/2010

There was a guy on Twitter I used to speak to.  I told him about the Hemorrhage section of the painting and he wanted to know why I was angry with the church.  I told him and he does not speak to me anymore.  It made me question if I should drop this controversial section of the painting.

To help shake off the coldness from our “religious” interaction, I began to look up the candlesticks or lampstands of Scene II.  It was Exodus where I had previously found a detailed and descriptive blueprint sometime back.  I found myself reading other parts of Exodus and judgement.

I am more “religious” than I was when I began the painting and have a lot of respect or fear of the unknown.  I do not know if the bible is true and if it is, I will not make it into heaven and either will anyone I know.  Feeling that I should be conscientious of my critical judgements, I read on.

It is not difficult for me to see that I am critical of the actions and behaviors of my fellow-man.  I read about the “plank in the eye” and I imagine that I have a huge plank.  The world is filled with people who have planks in their eyes is an excuse.  I started thinking about looking at self and fixing me.

Anger is a big part of my life lately.  I am aware it is because of my judging people-simply put.  What is wrong is wrong and really it has been that way for hundreds of years and what do I realistically think I can do to change it when it all boils down to it?  Me helping me may be my best route for now.

In trying to figure out the 6 winged eagle; the first of The Four Living Creatures I started with research.  It is important to understand what these creatures might mean.  I posted a question about that in a “religious” forum and was surprised at the response!  I was attacked as a forum spammer, like a crowd of wild banshee’s!  That behavior only solidifies my outlook toward the truth of the matter when it comes to religion and the hypocritical behavior associated with it!

Needless to say, I removed the post and did not return.  It seemed a better opportunity not to deal directly with hypocrites and to look at published information for my answers (not to say that it was not written by a hypocrite as well), at least I was not subject to being abused.  Peacefully I studied what the interpretations are of the creatures and found that each creature represents essentially the top of their kind in what their mission in life is.

It makes perfect sense to me.  I went into the scene without sketching, trying to let the pencil control the flow of what is was/is meant to be.  I had pulled the feathers out of the bag and placed them gently with a clear adhesive.  I wanted the wings to have a realistic quality.  Shortly after placing the feathers and starting to paint, I allowed myself to move forward quickly when I should have taken the time to create what I had seen in my imagination.

At first I was feeling happy with the results but found my attitude changing due to the unrealistic way the wings began to appear.  Individually the wings looked good but joined seemed wrong,  I will have to continue to see for sure because in the creature having 6 wings compared to 2, it is easy to feel as though it “doesn’t look right.”  I will continue until I am sure but have a sneaking suspicion I am not going to feel satisfied due to the awkward feel of 6 wings.

Lose or Win

Hey you on the other side
I’ve cried a pint from the middle of my eye

Dancing in darkness, tears stream their faces
Though they’ve never been a part of social graces

Jumping just once, they believed they could fly
Bursting open on concrete, wet then dry

How horrible you say it must have been
But some things have to be tested

Lose or win

Today is a new day and today is the first day of the rest of my life.  I will spend the day painting and revitalizing my dreams and I refuse to lose!

Sometimes I wonder what exactly I am trying to do here and if it really matters?  I am burning the candle at both ends and am not getting positive gratitude from all this effort, just anger.  I feel like it is all a joke sometimes.  I have made this a consumption of my life and maybe my priorities are screwed up.  I do not want to be a nurse anymore and keep telling myself, one more year.

I recently wrote a blog for the hemorrhage journal where I was shocked at the total number of people in the U.S and the world compared to the amount of views and minimal comments I receive and saw that I am smaller than a speck of sand in this world and that my dreams are even smaller than that.  I’m feeling frustrated, like I can never really rest, and if I do my dreams will end.

Then I think, if my dreams end that might not be so bad, but then what will drive me forward?  I will always wonder and regret.  I find myself already (and for a long time), already regretting time I have let slip away.  It is a difficult thing, letting go and dreaming.  Seeking and finding a healthy balance where I feel happy again would be fine, it is a simple goal but so hard to figure out.

If I closed it all down, would anyone but just a handful of people even notice?  What got me into this rapid pace is my father.  He is old, very old and I just wanted to show him the true magnificence of my dreams before he leaves this earth.  It is not for me, it never has been or it would have been done a long time ago.  Death never affected me personally until my mother died and she will never see my dreams.

I don’t know…

There is a box of “STOCK CARDS” sitting here waiting for buyers…or to be given away.  My daughter scared me about the stock cards when she said, “What if the painting doesn’t make it?”  Am I still responsible to pay the people the appraised and depreciated worth of all the money I have sunk into it?  Imagine giving a card to help someone in their life and they turned around and sued you for the stated amount on the card.  People do it…

I contacted the Lawyers for the Arts but they could not help me,  I ran an ad on the GIVE/TAKE page on the Official website for Lawyer Services with no response yet.  My option is to hold on to the cards until I am sure and my endeavor is protected.  The legal aspects of the painting are not imagination or the fantasy of art, they are connected to my life and is serious business.  To move forward could have consequences which are unrecoverable.

The Journal of Dreams 02/19/2010

I have spent a lot of time thinking about the legal aspects of the painting.  It has been a month and a half since I listed the stuff the painting needs on the website and the STOCK CARDS.  It might just be a sign of some kind to take those things away.  I might be leading myself into trouble.

After researching the resources available to artist-for free to consult on legal issues, if it seems the better option, I will close the GIVE/TAKE page.  I have supported and funded this painting for 12 years and I can see it to completion independently.  Maybe the fiber optics will be my downfall but maybe not.

If push came to shove, I would physically go door to door for it.  Imagine tha artist at your door asking for a dollar donation toward fiber optic lights to light up God?  Would you give a dollar or tell the artist to get a job?  Sometimes I get really frustrated and my feeling get really hurt.

Maybe sometime in the next couple of months, I will ask for one dollar from everyone I enounter, everywhere I go and see if my countrymen can spare even a dollar to someone trying to make a difference.  It would be interesting to see.  I bet if I said I was a nurse I would get one.  I am going to go it.

When you work a lot, you need a lot of energy, a.k.a ATP-the scientific word for it.  I drink a lot of Mountain Dew…a lot!  And I eat a lot of candy, real candy like hard, pure sugar, jelly beans (especially the thicker skinned ones and licorice ones), chewy pure sugar jaw-breakers and pure honey.  Sometimes when I make tea, I use pure raw sugar and put about an inch in the bottom to suck through the straw as I go.  I should be in the Guinness Book of World Records for it; most EVER sugar eaten!

With that being said, I have decided to add mysteries throughout the painting.  There is a place at the bottom of the homepage on the Official site that fits the information perfectly.  I am really unsure if Da Vinci ever placed mysteries in his paintings, I think people made it seem as though he did but it was a grand inspiration.  Another influence believe it or not was the movie Saw.  I am intrigued by the riddles in the movies.  That writer is admirable!  Imagine the fire in a mind that thinks like that?

I am going to have to figure out a way to mark the mysteries to draw attention to them.  There is a lot of information on the website and later ones.  I have kept the MySpace and Facebook up to date and even join some other art specific sites.  I figured any way to get the revelation name out there, the better.  I can’t seem to get any responses for a sponsor and am about to give up on that.  I will have to buy the fiber optics and thermochromics myself.  I also still need Bixbite and a lot of it.  I cannot afford that regardless.

The mysteries will be marked as such (((MYSTERY))), that is pretty noticable and draws attention to it.  That way if it was missed by any chance, it was meant to be I suppose.  I have to keep a log of the mysteries as well.  I had pulled a disclosed mystery from an earlier blog which I will show again later with this mark.  I am planning a great one for Martin Luther King but will have to see if it is usable after he is painted.  I am going to write backwards throughout the painting with lead pencil which will show up when x-rayed.  That will be neat!

Feeling a little tired.  I am working the mid-shift in the “Emergency Room” when the world wakes up and decides it is time to come see the doctor after about a year!  But I am focusing on the P O S I T I V E!

It seems the right top canvas that was buckling or warping has resolved…mostly.  I made it a practice every morning and night to re-tack it into place.  I am happy, thinking I might have had to replace it.

I will start painting after a day of rest.  I worked 6-12 hour shifts in 7 days which equals 72 hours not counting the before and after time.  When I work like this, it feels like I am getting the flu or something but it goes away after rest.

Thinking about sketching a few things on the canvas but when I started, I felt irritable.  It is not good to sketch when you are irritable, nothing will ever look right.  I will wait one day.

The Journal of Dreams 02/16/2010

Last night I dreamed of many women riding horses at night.  The subtle blue midnight and white of the moon cast the Interference Blue highlights on their shadows illuminating them through the darkness.  They were beautiful, graceful and their horses ran in unison.  There were trees with many bright, white skeletons of human beings in them and as they moved their bones made a clacking sound against each other.

The horses caused a great stir among the skeletons but I was unable to understand why.  Thinking it was the thundering sound if their feet, I quickly designed a spongy ground that absorbed the sound but it did not put the skeletons at rest.  I tried to divert their anxiety by swinging from branch to branch like a great ape, but their heads and large, black, hollow eyes kept turning toward the horses.  The hollowness of the sockets made the eyes huge and fearful.

An overwhelming sadness came upon me when I saw the fear in their faces because of those big, dark, hollow eye sockets.  It was as though they were in fear of their very lives but I realized they had no lives, they were already dead.  And then something greater than myself helped me realize that they were not dead but very much alive and that just because something appears dead, its spirit lives on whether in skin or bones, or any other way.

It was one of those moments in life when a relief comes over you that you didn’t even realize the stress of until it is gone.  In life those moments are few and far between.  They are like figuring out the questions of the universe.  The answers are so profound that if you try to tell someone, it gets all twisted up and the thoughts fall apart, then the person you are trying to tell thinks you are crazy.

I figured out something once that had to do with the sun, the earth and people.  I was driving into the sun and it was bright, yet I was able to look straight into it.  In wondering how I was doing that, it dawned on me that the sun was not as far as it is supposed to be, that somehow it was a part of me, I felt that we were one for just an instant.  Its complication was confusing.

I tried to tell my daughter sitting beside me what I had just experienced but the deeper I got into what it meant, the more the story seemed not to make sense and the more I became confused about what, if anything I had seen.  I wondered if I had fallen asleep for a split second.  My daughter looked and me and said:  “Mom, you are crazy but I love you.”

I am working today, excited about “job security” in these tough economic times.  In hoping there will be a future of mutual respect, I enter this new job with a positive attitude to develop a long-term relationship…Have to get my ducks in a row!

Today is Valentine’s Day.  I woke up wondering where that all came from and it seems it comes from ancient Roman rituals, the customs of Victorian England and Saint Valentine.  It comes from Christian and Roman traditions and the Catholic Church recognizes three different martyred saints named Valentine or Valentinus.

One legend states that Valentine was a priest during the third century in Rome who secretly defied the orders of Emperor Claudius II when he ruled that single men made better soldiers than married men and Valentine performed “secret” marriages for which later he would be put to death.

Another legend is that Valentine was placed in prison and fell in love with a young woman.  It is said before he died that he wrote a note to the love of his life and signed it:  “From your Valentine”.  That is where the phrase came from and is still used in modern times.

There are many stories and their ties are deep in Christianity, Catholicism, and the ancient Roman times.  Funny, I had never thought about it before and doubt I learned it in school but the stories are indeed inspiring and well worth the time to read.  http://www.history.com/topics/valentines-day

Looking forward to my daily writing about the painting, I spend time imagining what needs to be covered with in this last year.  My focus is heavier on the blogs than the paintings and that could prove a tragedy.  The year is passing faster than expected and although some of the painting was completed throughout the past 12 years, it certainly was not enough to take the remaining year’s time lightly.

My decision to work backwards in the painting appeals to me.  I had focused on The Four Horsemen to complete first because of my diversion to drawing or painting horses.  I knew it would be difficult and felt to get that part out of the way would prove to be a great motivator while trying to work full-time and paint full-time.  After completion of Scene II, I will need to work backwards and finish Scene I.

I had a slight problem trying to work out Scene I entitled Jesus and John due to the simple fact that John was not visible because he was in “the spirit” which made the scene odd.  If someone were to look at it who did not know it was of Revelation and looked for John, they would be confused.  So finally after all this time, the answer became clear of how to fix the problem.

The “spirit”…there have been documented “sightings” of spirits mainly through Orbs.  Initially I was going to make a blurry circle of mist and still may do something similar.  But although an Orb looks more like a ball of light, the light is reserved for God in Scene II.  I cannot give the delegation of light to anyone but God, especially as close as they are located to one another in the painting.

So, John will appear similar to a cloud in a sphere shape.  Whiter around the edges and translucent within,  as I had learned when I taught myself how to paint clear balloons sometime back.  The effect of seeing what is behind him, through him will be a neat one.  There are 3 canvases, the left end of the painting to complete after Scene II is done, leaving 19 (some partially completed) to go!

The Journal of Dreams 02/12/2010

Started working on the Journal of Sketches some today to try to figure out these Four Living Creatures and their placement in the painting.  For sure, I will change the colors of the wings in each creature.  I am afraid my boredom will get in the way of progress.  I keep the canvas for Babylon near by just in case.  There is a lot of intricate work to do on that scene.

I was thinking a lot about my father today.  He is old now, 82.  I see a lot of people his age dying and I will miss him terribly.  He has been a major resource for me with the technical side of the painting, but moreover my life.  How many times do we think in our lives:  “I wish I would have spent more time with them?”  There is nothing keeping me from that really, just the risk of being trapped.

One time we were talking about “Cowboys”.  Since he was raised poor and on country music, he see’s a Cowboy as a rebel, a loner, and they have a good heart but a restless spirit.  I guess I see them that way too.  I told him I was going to get a red tattoo in block letters on my bicep that said:  COWBOY.  He laughed and said that I was a Cowboy.

Somehow I felt that I was going to cry because in that moment I realized that he does have some understanding of me if he knew that I considered myself as a Cowboy and that when he looked into my eyes as a baby, he must have known it then and that what I thought was “treating me bad”, was actually him teaching me what I would need to survive.  He must have known some Cowboys in his life.

My neighbor complained that I smoke too much today!  The guy is a Sony “Producer” I heard, from the office staff who came over to rant and rave about his complaint.  The complaint began after two months of listening to the female in the apartment walk back and forth, all day, everyday in high heels on a hardwood floor.  I imagined her watching herself in a mirror or something, a fetish.  What other reason would a woman leave her high heels on ALL DAY and walk back and forth.  Really?

I read somewhere that the sound of women walking in high heels was studied in malls and that people bought more when the clickety-clack sound was the loudest…funny.  It must come from childhood and teachers or something, or maybe just the nervousness of the sound of a horse walking in the indoors…who knows.

The office told me to open my windows if I wanted to smoke.  Not only is it the dead of winter, rent at this apartment is $1400.00 a month and the electric bill this past month was $440.00…sure, I’ll open the windows!

Religion is a big thing in America and other parts of the world.  I am wondering seriously about intuition and Truth-The Hemorrhage of Pigs!  If I remove the idea from the painting, I will have lost a vital piece and ultimately the battle of good and evil will be lost as well.  The hemorrhage design is remarkable and will stun the audience but is it worth the controversy and since this is a religious painting, will I lose a major part of the audience?

The hemorrhage didn’t come about until September 2009 which I found odd.  It came from the H1N1 scare and other factors about the economic state of America.  Seeing it as a message sent from a greater source than myself, I was sure it was supposed to illuminate the events of the world, the social injustices, plans for the future and maybe even foretell the time of the apocalypse.  Could it have been that way, or is it that way?  What if I chose not to share these messages?

Could a person know the end of time?

There is a story within the hemorrhage that I have not told yet.  It is about the layout created 12 years ago and the similarities of the layout of the world recently uncovered in December 2009.  It was terrifying and remains that way.  It is a story of time passed, current time and end time.  According to the layout of the painting, we are  in Scene VI.  There are only 7 scenes in the painting.  Scene VI is Babylon (The Great Whore).

Somewhere in the bible it states that at the end of time sons and daughter will become prophets.  I do not think of myself as a prophet only a messenger being able to see into this painting and its true meaning which happens not to be Revelation as it seems but a true revelation of what has happened, is happening, and what is to come.  When I first became aware of what I saw, I wondered why I would continue the painting as my first instinct was to run for my life, literally.

It did not take long to realize there is nowhere to run to and no place to hide…or is there?

Behind today, no real-time to talk about it.  Going to work.  I keep readjusting the heavy wood canvases, one particular canvas may be warped.  It pulls away from the wall and it is the upper corner.  Hopefully, once the paint (moisture) is on it, when it pulls away, if I keep up on it as it dries I will straighten it.  I will have to wait to paint on it until I am sure it is a viable canvas.

The Journal of Dreams 02/08/2010

Tired but happy I have a job and able to pay the bills.  The last 6 months of 2009 was bad for nursing work believe it or not which put me behind.  It is a wake up call for me to realize that even the people who know how to save a life are not really guaranteed work.  Too many times in the past year I have been close to homeless.  I figure I am earning the last part of this struggle through life in a hard way.  There are two reasons for it.  My education was most certainly through the School of Hard Knocks.  I have always been that way for me; resistant and rebellious.

The second reason was brought to light by my old father when he told me one time:  “Never forget your raisens,”  Which translated means “never forget where you came from no matter where you go in life or what you do.”  I have forgotten that before but not for a long time and often I have said truthfully that I lived better, had more control of my life and finances, and felt happier working at McDonald’s.  I knew when I worked, what would happen, what I would do, when I got off and when I got paid.  Often times I thought about going back to a job where I had time for the people.

It seems hard to believe for the average bear but when you make more money, your life changes and you need more money and when you get paid daily, you really get screwed up because there is always some money in your pocket unless there is no work.  So the money you spend the day before frivolously, just might be the money you need to pay the light bill.  And for the back to the people part of it, being a nurse is like herding cattle.  You do not feed the sick and weary souls or your own soul, you feed the machine.

So why don’t I take a full-time job after 17 years?  Well it all started 17 years ago when I went on a quest to find a home, a job where I would feel happy and make friends…a life.  Seventeen years later and so many cities I lost count (maybe 200 or more), I still haven’t found a home.  I work hard, I do what is right, I am a team player and will break my back to do what need to be done but I cannot tolerate the bullshit of it all, blatant disrespect or one thriving off the others, like the machine.

When I went to nursing school, just as it is now, you are taught that it is a professional and respectful career.  If only one nurse or instructor had told me the truth of the matter, I may have been a doctor (although it is not much better than nursing), but most likely a lawyer.  My life would have been totally different.  Two years after I became a nurse I looked into medical school.  I had a plan to work in the mountains of West Virginia and provide healthcare to the poor by house calls and be paid by whatever they could afford.

Before I became a nurse, I was shy, smiled all the time and my face turned red when I talked to people.  Now my face turns red in anger, I never smile, everything tears me up that deals with abuse of the system, the country, the people of the world.  It is my fault but I was a first generation college student, excited to find out I wasn’t as “stupid” as I thought I was and realized I had a chance.  It was one of the times I jumped from the frying pan into the fire without making an informed decision or evaluating my options.  It was all on me to figure it out.

Maybe the anger comes with growing up, but somehow I don’t believe that.  Maybe it is post traumatic stress disorder…I have seen a lot of real life things that belonged on Hellraiser or some other horror flick.  I work 13-15 hours (including to/from work), take an hour or so to go to sleep and chronically am deprived of sleep.  I know I don’t eat right, sometimes not at all in a 12.5 hour shift, just drinking Mountain Dew (a lot of nurses drink Mountain Dew, it is funny how they made “Code Red”…similar name to Code Blue)…Well, seven days until the new job starts.

I know I had not planned to put pictures here and there are not pictures in the hand written journal but this is a ruby, a rough ruby.

This is my pig I received today.  It appealed to me for the section of the painting within a painting entitled:  Truth-The Hemorrhage of Pigs!  He will sit near me to remind me of what should never be forgotten.
